Marine boilers are key equipment in ship power systems and auxiliary systems, and their normal operation depends on various supporting accessories. According to authoritative public information, the main accessories of marine boilers include the following categories:
Core accessory list
Safety valves: to prevent boiler overpressure, usually no less than two, to ensure safe operation.
Water level gauge: Real time monitoring of the water level inside the boiler to prevent dry burning or full water accidents, usually equipped with a double-sided glass water level gauge.
Pressure gauge: monitors the internal steam pressure of the boiler, and each boiler is usually equipped with two calibrated and qualified pressure gauges.
Upper and lower drain valves: Regularly discharge scale and sludge from the bottom of the drum and header to maintain water quality.
Main steam valve: controls the steam output flow, installed at the outlet of the drum or superheater, commonly using gate valves or globe valves.
Water supply valve: regulating boiler water supply, usually consisting of a shut-off valve and a check valve. Each boiler should be equipped with two sets of independent water supply valves.
Automatic water level controller: automatically controls the water level through floats, magnetic relays, etc., connected to monitoring container 14.
Steam regulation controller: automatically controls the start and stop of the burner and the switching between large and small fires based on steam pressure.
Burner: The core heat source equipment is divided into mechanical (pressure type, rotary cup type) and medium type according to the type of fuel injector. Mechanical type 12 is commonly used in marine applications.
Flame detector: In conjunction with the burner, it monitors the flame status and is installed in the control box to ensure ignition safety.
